An endeavour which sprouted within the parish in the last years of the previous century as a full-fledged Nursing Home, it was a major step towards fulfilling the Christian ministry of St. Thomas Orthodox Church Society towards social upliftment of the not so wealthy in the field of healthcare. The land for the nursing home was procured from the GDA in the year of 1999. After long drawn struggles, we finally finished the construction of the long proposed Nursing Home, in the centenary year of the establishment of the Catholicate in Malankara, in 2012 from where the building gets the name as ‘Catholicate Centenary Building’.
St. Thomas Clinic formed as the beginning, a minor step towards this mega charity project of Nursing Home. It was dedicated to the public by HG Dr Abraham Mar Seraphim, Metropolitan of Bangalore Diocese in 2015. It is started as a small healthcare centre meant for general checkup and providing basic medication at very nominal rates under the care of two able medical practitioners and supporting staff. We pray to God Almighty to direct us in our efforts in order for the community to avail the optimum benefaction through our vision for this project.
